Cub Scout Pack 1570 was established in 1981 the Clearview Elementary School PTA, Herndon, Virginia as the charter organization. Until the Covid Pandemic in 2020, Pack 1570 played an integral role in preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.  The pandemic was a hard time for Cub Scouting.  We are hoping to restore this legendary Pack to provide service to the neighborhoods around Clearview Elementary.

Pack 1570 is now chartered by the Wayne M. Kidwell American Legion Post 184 in Herndon, VA. We have served 1000s of youth who have gone on to Troop 1570.  The troop has produced 134 Eagle Scouts during is 30+ year history.  The troop is also chartered by American Legion Post 184.

The Pack is looking to recruit family with youth ages 5-10 to form Dens.  Dens are comprised of 6-8 Scouts of the same gender working a specific age based rank.  We would love to be joined by youth and their parents (Scouts and Scout Leaders).
